How do I save an answer as a file?

Goal

Let Nova propose a file, and write it only after the card.

Before you start

• AI access is set up.

Steps

1. Get an answer at the avatar and say it should be saved as a file, with a name and a folder if you want one.
2. The card is titled Save file. The button is Save. Dismiss writes no file.
3. Save writes the file. A file that appeared in the meantime is not overwritten.

Example

“Summarize that in one sentence and save it as a file called Test.” Look at the card, then Dismiss.

Common problems

• Save writes immediately.
• With no folder, Nova picks a place. It is on the card.
• A note is the card Create note, not a file.
