How do I add a reminder?

Goal

Let Nova propose a reminder, and write it only after the card.

Before you start

• AI access is set up.
• Reminders are allowed. See Which macOS permissions does Nova need?

Steps

1. Say the reminder at the avatar, with a time if there is one.
2. Without a day it is today if the time is still ahead, otherwise tomorrow. “In 10 minutes” counts from now.
3. The card is titled Create reminder. The button is Confirm. Dismiss writes nothing.
4. Confirm adds it in Reminders.

Example

“Remind me tomorrow at 9 to call.” Look at the card, then Dismiss.

Common problems

• Without the Reminders permission there is no card that can write.
• An event is the card Create event, not a reminder.
• Confirm writes immediately.
