More sources (preview)
Goal
An overview of the preview sources. Each one has its own guide.
Before you start
- Nova Health 0.1.6 or newer.
- An account with the service, or an export file from the Android device.
Steps
- Preview means: not yet tested with a real account or a real export file. Feedback is welcome, through Help → Send feedback, ideally with the diagnostic copy. Please never share tokens, client secrets, export files, or raw data.
- Oura: your own Oura application, only with an active Oura membership. See How do I connect Oura?
- Polar: your own AccessLink client, sleep only for the last 28 days. See How do I connect Polar?
- WHOOP: your own WHOOP app with three scopes. See How do I connect WHOOP?
- intervals.icu: a personal API key, a free account is enough. See How do I connect intervals.icu?
- Android – Health Connect: a regular export from Android 14, as a ZIP in the inbox folder. See How do I read a Health Connect export?
- Android – Samsung Health: request the data, put the ZIP from the email into the inbox folder. See How do I read a Samsung Health export?
- Credentials stay on this Mac, in secrets.json. Nova Health talks directly to each service, through no third-party servers.
Example
Paste the intervals.icu key and save. Nova Health then fetches the last 90 days right away.
Common problems
- Oura hands out no data. The Oura API needs an active Oura membership.
- Sign-in stops because the port is busy. Restart Nova Health and connect again.
- Polar hands out no data. Confirm all required consents in Polar Flow and try again.
- An Android export is empty, unreadable, or unknown. The notice at the top of the tab says so, and the file is skipped.
