How do I write a mail that I send myself?

Goal

Have a draft opened. Sending stays in Mail.

Before you start

• AI access is set up.
• Mail is allowed. See Which macOS permissions does Nova need?

Steps

1. Say the mail at the avatar, with a recipient and the text.
2. The card is titled Open a mail draft. The button is Confirm. Dismiss opens nothing.
3. Confirm opens the draft in Mail. Nova does not send it.
4. Read it in Mail, and send it only there.

Example

“Write a mail to me, subject Test, one line of text.” Look at the card, then Dismiss.

Common problems

• Without a recipient the draft stays incomplete. The card says to add the recipient in Mail.
• Confirm opens Mail.
• A message in iMessage or Teams is a different card. That title starts with Message.
