How do I switch modules on and off?

Goal

Switch Meetings, Work time, Health, Screen history, Subscriptions, Notes & knowledge, Name files and Nova Chat on or off for each Mac.

Before you start

• Settings are open. The Modules page is also in Simple.

Steps

1. Open Settings and choose “Modules” on the left.
2. Flip the switch next to the module.
3. If a recording is running, Nova asks first. “Switch off” ends the recording and saves the minutes.
4. If you ask Nova for a module that is off, Nova says “… is off for you.” and shows “Switch on”.

Example

You don’t use subscriptions: under Modules, flip the switch next to Subscriptions. Subscriptions disappears everywhere, your entries stay. Switch it back on later and everything is there again.

Common problems

• Whatever is off disappears everywhere and does not run in the background. Your data stays.
• The switch applies to each Mac. On a second Mac, you switch it there.
• After the update, everything you already use stays on.
• Always included and cannot be switched off: voice and avatar, chat in the overlay, calendar, mail drafts, reminders, Nova Search, connections, help.
