How do I add or move an event?

Goal

Let Nova propose an event, and write it only after the card.

Before you start

• AI access is set up.
• A writable calendar is selected. See How do I ask Nova what’s on today?

Steps

1. Say the event at the avatar, with a day and a time.
2. The card is titled Create event. A new event has the button Confirm. A move has the button Move.
3. Without an end time the event lasts one hour. Title, start and end can still be changed on the card.
4. Dismiss writes nothing. The other button creates the event or moves it.
5. Nothing is sent from here. The event lands in the calendar you picked for new events.

Example

“Add an event tomorrow at 10 called Test.” Look at the card, then Dismiss if you were only trying it out.

Common problems

• Without a writable calendar there is no card that can write.
• Confirm or Move writes immediately.
• Invitations are a different card. That one is titled Invitation. When someone accepts an invitation you sent, Nova shows its own card for that.
